Reid

Reid's interest in dancing started when he was just a freshman at East Lansing High School. It was when a teacher approached him and asked him to join the school's Hispanic Dance Club that Reid would discover his passion for Latin dancing.

While in 11th. grade, he furthered his study in Latin dance by attending group Salsa lessons with fellow members of the Hispanic Dance Club. The club started learning and performing choreographed numbers. One of Reid's favorite was the Rueda routine that they placed third in at a 2004 talent show. Also, in 2004 and 2005 he competed with the club at Central Michigan University's Language Day and ,during a performance at CMU in 2005, the club received first place.

Reid moved to Cleveland to attend John Carroll University where he attended classes with Linda Bedenk of Cleveland Swing and Salsa. Reid not only became interested in exploring other styles of dancing but wanted to teach. He became employed with Cleveland Swing and Salsa in 2007 where he continues to develop his dancing and teaching skills. He is a quick study, highly talented and has been a real asset to us.

Reid is currently a full-time student at John Carroll University as a physics major.
